Scattered across the globe, these restaurants buck traditional four-walled structures in typical buildings for nature-provided settings in tree houses, waterfalls, underwater, and in caves. These are our top 10!

The Cave Restaurant and Resort - Richland, MO

Book your dinner reservations at this restaurant in Richland, Missouri to dine amongst fellow spelunking enthusiasts and tourists alike. The Cave Restaurant is the world's only restaurant inside a cave, and is located just off of the Gasconade River.
The restaurant showcases natural waterfalls, fish ponds, a view of the river, and taxidermied figures of cave-dwelling animals native to the region scattered throughout.

Villa Escudero - San Pablo City, Phillipines

Dinner in a waterfall? Absolutely! Villa Escudero restaurant in the Phillipines' San Pablo City serves a lunch of local filipino cuisine on bamboo tables resting in running water from the waterfalls. Cool off before or after your meal by relaxing in the falls themselves.

Rootmaster - London, England

Hop aboard this old double decker bus in London, England for one of the best in quirky dining spaces. Serving vegetarian and vegan entrees, the Rootmaster's upper deck seats roughly 28 not including the mobile outdoor patio, and changes location throughout the year.

Berggasthaus Aescher - Swiss Alps, Switzerland

Berggasthaus Aescher is a 40-seat restaurant and hotel all in one charming 3-story house built into the side of the Swiss Alps. Bonus: You'll get a great workout hiking up the alps to get to the restaurant!

Ithaa Undersea Restaurant - Rangali Island, Maldives

Ithaa Undersea Restaurant sits 16 feet beneath the surface of the Indian Ocean in the Maldives and is the world's first all-glass undersea restaurant, offering 180 degree views of coral reef and marine life. Reserve your table up to 14 days before you visit, and leave the kiddos in the hotel room if you can - diners must be at least 12 to enter.

Lainio Snow Village Ice Restaurant - Yllasjarvi, Finland

The Snow Village Ice Restaurant in Finland changes every year as more than one thousand truck loads of snow are used to sculpt the restaurant and the rest of the complex, which consists of the restaurant, lobbies, a bar, and hotel rooms and suites made only of snow.
The 40-70 seat restaurant is made of ice and snow and tastefully lit with candles and colorful lights. It's always somewhere between 23 and 30 degrees inside, so make sure to dress warmly!
