P-SQUARE MUM DIES. WHAT THEY HAVE TO SAY.

Top Nigeria’s music group, P-Square comprising Peter and Paul Okoye have lost their mother, Mrs Okoye.
Mrs Okoye died  after a brief illness. She was flown to India few months ago after being first admitted at St Nicholas Hospital, Yaba, Lagos.
Mrs Okoye was a good pillar to P-Square while she was alive. She was also reported to be very useful in shaping the music career of P-Square with priceless advice and care she gives the Nigerian music stars when needed.

She Was Our Role Model’ -Peter
‘She Was My World’ -Paul
Mrs. Okoye before her death was widely known as one of the major pillar and source of inspiration to the singing twin brothers (P-Square).
She had been in and out of the hospital for about four months before she eventually died.
She is survived by her Jos based husband, children; Ifeanyi, Henry, Jude, Lilian, Tony, Peter, Paul and Mary.
In the words of Peter, the eldest half of the P-Square twin brothers, their mother will be greatly missed, not just because she was their mother, but because she played a vital role in the success story of P-Square and remains their role model. “You know that she was a prayer warrior, so I don’t need to tell you how she stood by us spiritually. Besides, she was the only one that believed in us when we decided to make a career out of music. She was our source of inspiration and our role model!
“I can remember that she used to sneak us out at night then to attend shows without the consent of our father who insisted that we must quit music to face our education,”Peter said.
While Paul who has broken down since the news was broken to the family, his mum remains his world and everything. “My mum remains my world and my everything. She has done so much for us and can’t just have enough of us. She was the pillar behind us and was there when we were nobody till now when we are two of the best in the country. It’s indeed a sad one and I would forever miss her!”
A condolence register was opened in her honour at P-Square’s Omole Phase 1 residence and several friends and colleagues of the multiple award-winning singers have been visiting the house to commiserate with the Okoye family.

10 Awkwardly Funny Sex and Romance Quotes from the Bible

"Your hair is like a flock of goats" - Song of Songs 4:1

Best pick-up line ever?

2

"Your stature is like that of the palm, and your breasts like clusters of fruit. I said, 'I will climb the palm tree; I will take hold of its fruit.'" - Song of Songs 7:7-8

Bow chica wah wah...

3

"Yet she became more and more promiscuous as she recalled the days of her youth, when she was a prostitute in Egypt. There she lusted after her lovers, whose genitals were like those of donkeys and whose emission was like that of horses." - Ezekiel 23:19-20

Those Egyptians must get a lot of play.

4

"Onan knew that the child would not be his; so whenever he slept with his brother’s wife, he spilled his semen on the ground to keep from providing offspring for his brother." - Genesis 38:9

I think he forgot that this method isn't 100% reliable, especially when the all-powerful God is overseeing your actions. What, did you think he wouldn't notice?

5

"Your waist is a mound of wheat" - Song of Songs 7:2

Does this mound make me look fat?

6

"I am a wall, and my breasts are like towers. Thus I have become in his eyes like one bringing contentment." - Song of Songs 8:10

Someone thinks rather highly of herself!

7

"She did not give up the prostitution she began in Egypt, when during her youth men slept with her, caressed her virgin bosom and poured out their lust on her." - Ezekiel 23:8

Those Egyptians are at it again! That place must be one big red light district by now!

8

"Your breasts are like two fawns, like twin fawns of a gazelle that browse among the lilies." - Song of Songs 4:5

That's the nicest thing anyone's ever said to me!

9

"Your teeth are like a flock of sheep coming up from the washing. Each has its twin, not one of them is missing." - Song of Songs 6:6

I guess that's a compliment... at least he noticed that you still have all of your teeth.

10

"You also took the fine jewelry I gave you, the jewelry made of my gold and silver, and you made for yourself male idols and engaged in prostitution with them." - Ezekiel 16:17

That awkward moment when your mom walks in on you having sex with her jewelry...

Industry Nite With The Mavins

Lagos came to a standstill on Wednesday night as the Mavins shut down Industry Nite. A jam-packed Oriental Hotel played host to hundreds of fans and celebrities who all came to see the Mavins perform together for the first time. And what a performance it was! Wande Coal, Tiwa Savage, Dr.Sid, D' Prince and Don Jazzy all took turns to individually and collectively wow the crowd .

The Mavins performance was the climax of a night that saw other artists such as Segun and Yemi Alade take to the stage. There was also a joint performance between Tunde Ednut and Dr.Sid for 'Catching Cold' which brought the house down. It was a night full of light hearted fun with even Don Jazzy taking to the stage to do the Azonto with Wande Coal. The Mavin crew thanked all their fans who were able to make it and promised that there is much more to come from the label.
